How is this club different than your other clubs?

  • The Cobra Club is a rubber-coated club design that allows you to take this club anywhere to withstand the elements of extreme heat and bitter cold.
  • Because it is rubber-coated, the club can be taken to the beach to get wet or covered in sand, or in the woods while backpacking, and be left outside and not have to worry about the outdoor elements destroying your club with rust. 

Do I need to do anything for club maintenance?

Nope, nothing, just swing it!

Why does this handle design look different?

Because it is different! We implemented a rubber-coated ribbed ring design that is not only impervious but gives secure grip confirmation.

Why does this pommel look different?

  • The pommel on the cobra club has a fluted design to help with Pinky Finger Purchase.
  • With standard pommels, your pinky will tend to float off of the club, because of our patented fluted pommel design (also offered in our regular steel club product) it will give more secure grip confirmation while performing your steel club movement patterns. 

What weight should I start with?

  • Men - Single Arm Club - 6 or 8kg
  • Men - 2-Hand Club - 8 or 10kg
  • Women - Single Arm Club - 4kg
  • Women - 2 Hand Club - 6kg
  • However, if you are just starting out in club training and this is your first club purchase, we would recommend you start with the Delta Clubs because of the micro-loading abilities. You can find the Delta Clubs HERE

How do I find programs that work with your equipment?

Visit Wildman Athletica HERE for all club, kettlebell, mace and bodyweight programs. 

Should I start with 2-hand club training or single-arm club training first?

  • We would recommend the Wildman 2 Hand Club Program for beginners. Having the second hand to help with control with steel club movements definitely will help with control, cadence, and protect you from hitting yourself. However many people start with single-arm club training, there really is not a wrong way to start with 2-hand club training or single-arm club training. 

Is this club adjustable?

  • No, that would be our Delta Club that offers an adjustable feature, you can find that club HERE

Can I use these clubs to strike tires?

  • NO, the Delta Club is not meant to strike any object.

Are these handles knurled?

No, the entire cobra club is rubber-coated with a ribbed ring design for optimal grip confirmation.

Our rubber coated club line includes Delta Clubs and Cobra Clubs. Delta's have adjustable micro-loading weights to add on for advancing your training. We recommend the Delta Clubs for beginners so they can advance their practice, without breaking the bank. The Cobra Club is the adventure club.
